"Groundhog day"

February 2nd

Come celebrate and observe Groundhog Day with "Zoey" the master-mind prairie dog, who will predict the rest of this year's season......because we know prairie dogs are ALWAYS right!

"Story-Time Tuesday's"

March 2nd - Sept. 7th

Beginning in March thru September, the first Tuesday of each month, a local celebrity comes to the zoo to read an animal story to children. After story-time the children will engage in an arts and craft project session related to the story or animal encounter.

"ZooDAY" Grand Opening of New Exhibit

March 13th

Make plans to visit the Jackson Zoo during Spring-Break this year and enjoy a day of festivities that will incorporate a variety of activities and fun for the entire family. This celebration also includes the grand opening of a new Tiger Exhibit for our three Sumatran Tigers which will give these three-year old boys more space to play.
